The jury, consisting of fellow artists Hadassah Emmerich (chair), Rezi van Lankveld and Jan van de Pavert, chose Koole and Bastiaans on the basis of individuality, expressiveness and consistent quality within their oeuvre. The jury is impressed by the position taken with the work.

The exhibition with work by both winners can be visited until August 27 in ROZENSTRAAT – a rose is a rose is a rose in Amsterdam.
